The German students at Caerleon Comprehensive have had a busy time this week socialising with fellow students from Hannover and giving them a taste of education in Wales.

On Monday 22 Abitur (A level) students and 3 teachers arrived at the school and attended lessons here at Caerleon. They very much enjoyed their time at school joining in with lessons and especially liked the school uniform; something they don't have in Germany.
Wednesday afternoon, many of the the Year 12 students at Caerleon arranged to meet up with their new German friends and showed them around Cardiff. They felt it was only fair to let them try out the delicacies of Nando's for an evening meal. The German teenagers enjoyed it very much!
Thanks to this opportunity and social media, friendship groups have been forged and the Welsh/German students intend to stay in contact. Some are already planning a return visit to Hannover in the near future.
A lovely evening with our German friends showing them around Cardiff and treating them to a Nando's experience.
