Since January, six students from years 12 and 13, Xena Perryman, Lucy Foster, Rogerio Oliviera, Hamish Myers, Tom Grant and Sian Hopkins, have been working on an innovation challenge set by Welsh Water.  The students formed two groups each with its own idea to find a solution to future water management.

On Thursday 19th April, the students presented their ideas to a conference of 500 industry experts.  Both groups were highly commended for their ideas and their presentations.  Welsh Water were so impressed with the quality of the students’ work and the way in which they interacted with conference delegates that they took the time to write to thank them, and teacher Mr Parr, for being a credit to the school and community.

Fantastic!
